Hi, Nick Marino here. Lemme explain this weird webcomic to you...

The Basics: Super Haters was a superhero satire comic strip starring Destruct-O-Tron and Mind's Eye. They're two super-slackers who suck at pretty much everything.

And now it's time for... THE HISTORY OF SUPER HATERS!

The Cut-and-Paste Era: I created Super Haters as a weekly, three-panel webcomic on June 25, 2009 at AudioShocker.com. It ran that way until the comic went on hiatus in July 2010.

But the webcomic returned like a furious phoenix when I launched SuperHaters.com on December 1, 2010! After two months of reposting the old strips, new daily Haters comics began on February 2, 2011.

For about two years, Super Haters ran as a daily cut-and-paste webcomic. I drew all of the goofy-looking character art that was constantly reused and I co-wrote nearly every strip with my brilliant girlfriend (now fiancée!), Justique Woolridge. All Haters comics featuring that cut-and-paste art are considered in continuity, meaning there's an overarching story starting with #1 and ending with #454.

Rise of the Short Stories: While I was creating the daily strips, I became hungry to try new things with my characters. I started collaborating with some of my talented friends on short Super Haters stories outside of continuity.

These collaborations went so well that the short stories eventually killed the daily comics! Thus the cut-and-paste era officially concluded on November 30, 2012 and I turned my full attention to writing bizarre alternate reality tales starring Destruct-O-Tron and Mind's Eye as depicted by a bevvy of unique illustrators.

All Weird Things Must End: But as much as I loved creating these crazy stories with friends that I adore, I felt it was time for Super Haters to conclude. The final webcomic -- Super Haters #500 -- was posted on June 25th, 2014 a.k.a. the 5th anniversary of Super Haters.

I hope you enjoy reading Super Haters! And if you don't? Feel free to fuck off let me know why at info@superhaters.com. I appreciate all input, whether you love the Haters or hate the Haters.

P.S. I always credit my guests before my name on the webcomics, whether they're a writer or an artist. Just a little FYI in case you're wondering what's up with the order of the names in the credits.

P.P.S. Looking for more than just comics? We've also got Super Haters fan art and Super Haters reviews.

P.P.P.S. Remember when I said the cut-and-paste saga ended with #454? Well, that's not totally true. In June 2014, Justique and I merged our cut-and-paste style with the short story style. It began with Super Haters #487 and ran until our final webcomic!

P.P.P.P.S. A remixed and remastered collection of seven short stories debuted on ComiXology on April 1, 2015. It's called Super Haters: Incredibly Irresponsible and you can get it for $2.99.
