I awoke this morning to find that the international trailer for The Wolverine is online!!! I'm one of the few hardcore superhero fans who was ecstatic with the cheesiness of the first film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine(nude farm scene, anyone?). And so far it looks like this sequel will not disappoint me! Check out this GIF I made of Wolverine's new superpower:
HOLY FUCK!! HE CAN FLY LIKE SUPERMAN!!! Amazing. And how about that text in the trailer? This year... When he's most vulnerable... he's most dangerous. Who writes this shit? I GOTTA GET THEM TO DO A SUPER HATERS STORY! Absolutely brilliant satire.

Speaking of easy -- Jared Catherine. Errrr, wait, that came out wrong. What I meant to say is that it was super-easy coming up with an awesome story to tell with Jared!!
My gut instinct was to take the Superman of Super Haters and turn him into a loose cannon. I knew Jared would easily be able to pull off the humor and action with style. AND BOY DID HE EVER!!!
I feel like I should have some kind of juicy anecdote about a struggle we faced or a major problem we had along the way or some sort of secret like I slept with Jared's mother. But our working relationship was smooth! There were no snags. Or mother lovin'. Yet.
As for tomorrow? The Haters make their move on Magnifico!!!
Another tale of heroic depravity begins! This time I've got Jared Catherine -- of Incrediman Comix and the Comic Book Pitt podcast -- in the cockpit with me steering this out-of-control story.
And, no, you're not going colorblind. This story is in black and white. It didn't start out that way, but as it evolved and got closer and closer to the release date, something in my gut told me that the gray tones would enhance the amazing CRACKED qualities of Jared's MAD art!!

Mr. Magnifico Unchained a.k.a. Jared Catherine Guest Week begins next Monday, March 25th, 2013 in Super Haters #465!
For those of you who follow superhero comic book news, you probably already get the corny "Unchained" concept of the trailer. But for those who don't know, the title is a parody of this new comic book series. And if you don't know who Mr. Magnifico is you can learn about him from the Marvelous Detectives story arc.
Jared went all out with the art for this story, pushing every panel to its wackiest limit. I think he's channeling an incredible MAD Magazine vibe with his style here, and the feel is enhanced by our decision to go with black and white art instead of color... something Destruct-O-Tron and Mind's Eye have never done for an entire story!
Also, in case you missed it last week, Super Haters was featured in the latest Amilova webcomics newsletter. I'm still looking for people to translate Super Haters into other languages on Amilova, so if you're fluent in something other than English... hook it up!! Todd Purvee and Nilufa Nahari need you.
Super Haters is now on Amilova, an international webcomics website with tons of awesome original manga and comics. Along with the English version of Super Haters, Amilova also allows me to upload unlettered Super Haters pages.
Why leave all of the wordballoons blank? So the comics can be translated, of course! And that's where you come in -- I need your help translating Super Haters into different languages!
Aside from a few random words in French (pomplamoose), Italian (troia), and Spanish (extremo), I don't know anything outside of the English language. But I have faith in you, my worldly and articulate Super Haters readers!
So if you're bilingual or (better yet!) multilingual, pop on over to Amilova's new Super Haters hub and exercise your expertise!
