Nothing awesome ever happens in a creative vacuum and that goes quadruple for Super Haters. Thus today's comic strip (not to mention the next two weeks of ludicrous Super Haters comics) are the product of fantastic contributions by multiple people.

First up is Naveen Malli, comic book creator and a bud of mine from the kickass Digital Webbing forums... AND the Super Haters' 600th Twitter follower! I like to do stuff for my milestone Tweeps, and I offered up the following prize for my 600th follower -- the chance to name Destruct-O-Tron's new supervillain group. Naveen's inspired word choice was LUBE, which (unbeknownst to him) was the perfect follow up to the gag in #244. THX NAVEEN! Now make sure you go check out Naveen's freshly launched (and stunningly gorgeous) adventure webcomic, Zi, as well as his production blog.

BUT WAIT! There's more! The Destruct-O-Tyranny story arc was made possible by the brilliant mind of cartoonist Brady Dale Russell, who suggested a story arc parodying the henchmen recruitment process. I loved the idea and couldn't resist the opportunity to make fun of HYDRA and AIM. THX BRADY!

Of course, Destruct-O-Tron's villainous transformation was enabled by the ending of Brian John Mitchell's hilarious Guest Week, which left the character vulnerable and upset. THX BRIAN!

And not to be forgotten are the contributions of the cunning and clever Justique Woolridge, my co-plotter and Super Haters problem solver. She worked with me to make today's punchline happen and ultimately named the insidious LUBE organization. THX JUSTIQUE!
